My Father’s Heart, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Maryland corporation, founded in 2012 by Michael Wainwright. My Father’s Heart is made up of five members who are concerned about the city’s drug addiction problems.  The founder established My Father’s Heart to provide housing and other assistance to individuals who have completed an intensive inpatient drug rehabilitation program, and to help them learn how to live a life free from substance use disorder.

My Father’s Heart  is currently certified by the State of Maryland as a Level II Recovery Residence and serves the Baltimore Metropolitan area.

In addition to providing housing and other assistance, My Father’s Heart strives to create a community network of care for its residents. To meet this objective, My Father’s Heart, Inc. assists its residents with counseling services, job-training, education and financial services.
